- Rám na síta 360°:
Pro měkké, středně tvrdé nebo vláknité materiály doporučujeme použít rám na síta 360°, protože nejvhodnějším principem zmenšování částic je zde střih.
- Rám na síta 180°:
Středně tvrdé, tvrdé (až do tvrdosti Mohs 4) a křehké vzorky se nejlépe rozmělňují s rámem na síta 180° s mlecí vložkou pro síta 180°, protože nejvhodnějším principem zmenšování částic je zde náraz a střih.
