Online Seminar Day: Sample Preparation, Extraction and Analysis of Cannabis  joint webinars by Retsch, CEM and Shimadzu 

For the first time, the complete process of preparation, extraction and analysis of cannabis will be covered in one online seminar day. For this purpose, there are three separate 90 min webinars by the three participating companies Retsch, CEM and Shimadzu - each of which also includes an online demonstration. The three webinars are free, hands-on, and provide a comprehensive overview of the entire process route to analytics.

Shimadzu: Cannabis Analytics

In this webinar block, we will go into the analytics of cannabis ingredients and contaminants. We will focus on active ingredient testing (THC and cannabinoids) using HPLC, terpene analysis using GCMS, heavy metal determination using ICPMS, and pesticide/mycotoxin analysis using LCMS. We briefly introduce the techniques and go live to the instruments, where product specialists give hands-on demonstrations of the analysis techniques.
